New forum/sub-forum?

I'm trying to think ahead to our non football months. Getting people to spend time on the board. I know I have spent time on you tube just searching for random videos.

Where do we put it?

Make it it's own forum.....or sub forum under ..??

I would think in the football forum may be the best since it gets the most traffic. Outside of that maybe the B.S. forum? If we put it in audio/video it'll get lost as it doesn't seem like that forum gets visited as much as it used to.

 
I would think the football forum would be the place if it's mainly going to be Husker-related videos. Not sure if a sub-forum or just a pinned thread would be best; depends on how categorized we want it to be.

If it's going to be all different types of videos, probably would go somewhere else.

I'm still on board with this forum idea, but I have a concern about these posts in the thread. Does this put HuskerBoard at any copyright liability?

That's a good idea. I've got copies of most the games from 2008-2014, so I could figure out how to upload them (legally) if there's requests.

What if I sent you some blank DVD's? You be willing to make copies? PM me with details if thats something you'd have time to do.

If I'm not mistaken, what we're looking for is a forum populated by links to videos already on YouTube, not ones we're soliciting and uploading, right?

Agree with this. There's quite a few games all over youtube that are basically straight TV rips. From what I gather, it's a grey area, that nobody really cares about. Like I said above, I've got a ton of videos that I can upload to youtube and make available for linking here. I can create a dummy account, and if it get's DMCA'd, oh well.

Just let me know what you guys think.
