Only other thing would be this under each year for game videos. Should we add:

"Full or partial live game videos or game highlights from the 2000 decade."

Just to give clearer directions what goes there.

I like that last suggest and I agree to send it live. Plenty of stuff in there to get it started.

So, since I'm putting around 6-12 videos in each thread, do you guys care if I try to clean up the posts a bit? I'd like to put them in order so its easier to navigate, then maybe put highlights at the bottom. Or should we just have one root post with links to each game of the season that I can upload?

I was thinking about trying to rearrange them as well. Perhaps put them in order that the games were played. Having an index would probably be hand as well.

I've tried to keep the videos from the same game in the same post, although that only works for two videos. I tried to have a full game if I could find it and then add a secondary or highlight video.

The only bad thing about an index is keeping it updated as other users post videos. I guess we could just do all the games first and not worry about any adds. But if the games were at least in the order they were played I would think that would help a lot.

You could edit to cut-and-paste the youtube url, to swap out videos from one post to another. Brute force. But it'd work.

 
If we were going to do that you'd have to edit the individual posts and paste the new links into them. Would be quite a bit of work but would be nice.

 
What if I just post a bunch of "reserved coming soon" posts in the threads? I have the "big games" for 2008-2009 done. I another couple of seasons before I head out of town on Friday.

I'm having to re-export these videos as I have time. I can't batch them all because they're various resolutions and formats, and I'm having to use my Macbook Pro because I can't get my Premiere/Creative Cloud account to work on my desktop PC.

IDK, you guys tell me if it's worth the hassle of doing it that way, or we just link them all in the root ala:

Game 1: link

Game 2: link

Game 3: link

etc...

Hm.

You *can* post a hell of a lot of posts -- maybe 100, if you think that'll cover it, but it would take a long time! -- in a thread in the test forum. Then, if any videos need to be inserted somewhere else in the order, you take one of those and insert it into the thread.

Kind of messy maybe, I'm not sure that's exactly what you're looking for. It is what do here when say, we create a new thread and move a lot of posts into it, but want to have our own post up top explaining what the new thread is for (i.e, the tangent threads -- their OPs came from test posts here from months back)

 
2010 season will be uploaded today. I can probably get 2011 and 2012 done before I head out of town for the weekend. It's up to you guys if you wanna launch with or without. I should be able to finish 2013 and 2014 over the weekend and upload them Sunday/Monday.

I'll probably create a bunch of dummy posts like Zoogies suggested.

 
I think Eric will agree - let's make it as good as possible before we launch. If we need more time, that's fine. Better good than fast. So, for anyone that wants to place any content, or have any ideas for format/layout, feel free to post or suggest without having a deadline hanging over your head. Just let us know when to proceed.
