New Registration Notifications

In the last couple of days, I've started receiving email notifcations of new registrations, which is great. I was wondering if anyone else has gotten them. If not, I'll assume that the notification is going only the the admin distribution list. If that's the case, I might be able to set up a forwarding email to the mods distribution list so that everyone gets them.

I find them incredibly helpful. You can quickly look at the username and email address they registered, and often spot trouble quickly, such as a spammer.

I haven't gotten any in a long time. Months.

Well, rats. I'm using the basic, free version of Yahoo email, and it won't let me set up forwarders. Does the basic gmail account allow forwarders? I may have to go that route. Or ask Joe to set the notification to go to the mods distribution list - which it used to do, if I recall correctly.

You mean like content reports? I think I turned them off from email and made it so they show up on the site's notification box because my phone would blow up after losses with report emails

I got the one that HSGRIND sent and I get the emails from reports.

Seems hit and miss to my gmail acct. with some still going to my hotmail acct.

EDITED: I only receive notifications of reported posts. Or hate mail from AR

I get some sometimes, like that HSGRIND one. Otherwise, not much..

Oh and looking at the settings in gmail, yea, you can forward email automatically.

Hmmm...I suspect that we'll need slacker to set it up so any registration notices go to the mods distribution list. It might be better if he sets up a "New Registration" distribution list containing the emails for those who want them. I think the best thing might be for those who want the notices to email Joe and let him know you'd like your email address added.
