The situation in Lincoln is such a cluster, it is hard to care and hard to get mad.  There will not be a big hire, just make the right hire.  The CFB world is passing us by.  We are not even like a bad Power 5 program now.  We are an average group of 5 program with how we are run, how we are coached and how we play.

Are you being serious or sarcastic, because I can't pick many group of 5 programs that can stand up against our schedule, show up every single Saturday and put play all of these Top 10 or Top 25 opponents week in and week out and be in position to win EVERY game.  There comes a a time when you an be disgusted with the program, then there is a time were people just like to b!^@h and make zero sense.

That is why I began by asking if there was sarcasm involved.  People are as mad as you are.  Being close isn't worth anything. I am just stating that calling the program an average group of 5 is a little over the top. 

 
For everyone complaining about the chaos and uncertainty of hiring the offensive staff, imagine how much more chaotic it would be if we were hiring a new HC and then both the offensive and defensive staffs.

 
Here's a novice idea, why not let the OC have some say into this? Might it be they are not rushing the search because they are first letting the new OC watch some film, maybe analyze the talent.. then maybe make a hire that is fitting for both the HC & OC. Just my 2 cents worth. In the words of a wise one, patience grasshopper!!

I am sorry I misspoke,   We are a really bad power 5 team.  I am not mad anymore.  Just disappointed.  I still love the Huskers, just hate losing.  I just get get owly during ANOTHER bowl season of no Huskers.  But I still appreciate your blind optimism.  I will say this for the hundredth time.  I hope HCSF turns it around next year.  It is easiet that way.  I just feel it will be the same.  In respect to the hard schedule?  Next year 6-6 should be about equal to this years 3-9.  

 
I feel confident that we are doing our coaching search(s) about as well as we did our special teams.  Schools that want to win, and more importantly demand winning, are spending 10’s of millions on coaches.  Getting them in place to recruit and exploit the transfer portal.  We appear to have not named on actual hire.  The whole, they might still be coaching is BS. Kelly might have ND in the CFP, Napier is in the conference championship ,other guys coaching in bowls.  Color me not impressed with our sh1t show.

Throw money at Herman or Chadwell.  Or start brushing up on googling guys we’ve never heard of.  And please no Helfrich or Harrell.  Or anyone from WVU....It’s looking like we fired guys with no real plan...Hoping I am really wrong.
