Frost needs to hire guys that can help us win next year, or he's gone. It's not time to train someone in. It's time to win games and buy more years. I'm fine with a one or two year OC and he should be too.

With guys staying put, I'd throw 3 million at Herman to be OC and QB coach.  Do it now.  I am thinking we are screwed and Frost wants Helfrich.  Davison thinks it's a great idea.  Wasn't he there when Mr .500 beat Helfrich....

If true, I hope you aren't surprised?  I have a whole thread about being underwhelmed.  This is what I expect.

I have become a fan used ti implosions with this team for years.  nothing new here.  Just wonder if the plan was this "well put together" why we didn't just fire Frost?

Everybody is having a meltdown for no reason, every other team that also fired their offensive coordinator hasn’t made a hire yet either. Of course other coaches are still out recruiting for their current teams, they are doing the jobs they are under contract and paid to do.

Mickey Joseph is currently out recruiting for LSU, did an in home visit as recently as last night.

Don't get me wrong, every hour that goes by with Joseph not being here makes it clearer and clearer he won't, but this proves nothing. He is doing a job he is currently being paid to do.

Agree...sounds like a big miss. This may also explain why things are taking so long. If Frost wanted Joseph all along and waited too long that will be frustrating.

Brian Kelly was first contacted by LSU like 48 hours before he was announced. Not quite the same.

I don't buy that in the slightest, but I don't think there's a strong way to prove it one way or the other.

If Frost put all of his proverbial eggs in the MJ basket then he was/is a dumbass.

We have been in this situation before with Joseph.  If you didn't know he really wants to stay in Louisiana, you haven't been paying attention.  That doesn't mean it's bad that Frost wants to go after him.  But, you can't be surprised if he stays too...especially when LSU is going to fork out a ton of money for assistants.  

That also doesn't mean there isn't other WR coaches out there that are good.

Reading this thread makes me wonder how some people handle stress in their own lives.
