Looking ahead...

who starts opposite Zack Bowman:

Andre Jones?

Courtney Grixby?

Other?

And who plays at the safety positions?

I bet you a million dollars that once Bowman gets healthy, Grixby won't sniff the field. It'll probably be Bowman and Jones on corners (unless we get some stud 7-foot-tall freshman) and I'll bet we see Thenarse at safety . . .

 
I would say Bowman and Thenarse....but it is way too early to speculate. They might get some stud JUCO in and put Thenarse back a little. Who knows...as long as they stay healthy in spring ball and during fall camp.

If he's smart, he will. He's damaged goods at the moment, and the pros will want some good evidence he's back 100% before taking him. It's conceivable that he could go to the combine and do well enough - conceivable, but not probable. That's an injury that takes a lot of rehab.

 
I'm hoping we can get Murillo to comit, and he's everything we think he is. Bowman,Murillo,Thenarse, and Culpert in 2007 would make a nice backfield.
