No Single-Digit Numbers

You put it out that the baddest MF'ers wear single digits, the media picks it up, fans and others see it and you have a fierce competition to earn the single digit jersey....It'll motivate the players.

Oh i get it, i have coached many of sport and years. I know exactly how bad those solo digit numbers are wanted.

Hopefully, we get good enough someday that when the opposition sees a bunch of 1-9 roll out on the defensive side of the ball, they know it's going to be a long day.

Well hopefully if the team is losing and he makes a play he doesn't celebrate and he moves on.  I would say that mentality has to change from years past.  Your team is losing so you shouldn't celebrate.  Move on to the next play and work towards taking the lead.

I am not a fan of a guy celebrating a big play when the team is down by 3 or 4 TD's, but if it's a close game I don't have a huge issue with celebrating a big play, especially if that player is trying to fire up a fan base or teammates.  Football is a game, let the kids have some fun.
