I don't understand why everyone thinks the defense is reverting back to crap. We've given up 189 total yards....thats it.

I agree with that...they are improving from week to week unlike offense and special teams. I was just commenting that giving up big run plays instead of big pass plays reminds me of last season.

When you run screens 20 times a game, they are fairly easy to read where the ball is going to be thrown...

The problem is there have been a lot of head coaches that go 5-7 but turn it around in year 2. Only way Riley goes is either by realizing this wasn't meant for him and steps down OR boosters/fan disappointment is at Callahan level and Eichorst gives in and admits his mistake and goes for hire no. 2 ala Pat Haden at USC.

The boosters will have the biggest sway in how all this plays out...especially if we do not make a bowl game.
