Team HuskerBoard
Blackshirt,

Roy CO HSKR has sent you this email from

http://www.huskerboard.com/forums/index.php.

After reading "former fan's: unusually derogatory comments today

regarding the coaching staff, I thought I would email you before dropping off

this board as a member. I welcome good discussion about the pros and

cons of the program, however, that particular member (and others) have a

hate message regarding everything since Solich. In my personal opinion

this approach serves no contructive purpose at all. I've been a Husker

fan since the '50s and sincerely feel that the program is on the right

track. Patience in turning a program around is not acceptable by some.

Whether or not this current staff will bring us a national

championship, I support what they are currently doing. Constructive criticism can

be made in this spirit.

not exactly sure which "derog comment" he was referring to myself... but my thoughts are that as long as FF isnt hijacking he really has no reason to complain. simply DONT read his sh#t. good god. maybe I shouldnt be so annoyed b/c I know Roy has been a good member, and I do appreciate him sending this as opposed to just dropping, but Im starting to think that since we run such a tight board that people feel they have the liberty to b!^@h about EVERYthing that isnt exactly to their liking. but then again I imagine for every 1 RoyCo that sends an email, there are several others that simply leave, so maybe we should look at this a little closer.

what do you guys think - is FF getting a little too much sand in his mangina again? are you aware of the post Roy was talking about?

I agree with Dave - nothing out of the ordinary. FF did attempt a hijack on one of the "positive" threads, but that's about it.

I think we need to hold off on doing anything at the moment. A lot of folks have very thin skin at the moment given the Maine game. Let's hope the team improves, and with it a lot of problems go away.

Besides, at HPH the number of FF-type posters is incredible - led, once again, by The Beekeeper. I would guess most boards are like that.

Before becoming a mod there were times I wanted to jump down FF's throat. I think he does that sometimes just to elicit more responses to his pessimistic viewpoint. Everyone has the right to their own opinion just not him  NOT. He does make some valid points but only interspersed with the same drivel over and over ad nauseum. The only thing I see troubling is how he can try and change directions and still mention something valid within the thread. Just to stay within bounds and tightrope the sideline.

My 2 centavos worth. :cheers

I believe it's just FF giving his opinion. Can't fault him there.
