Now that we went to a 3-4 defense will we beat the badgers moving forward?

Eh, I'm not sure our defense played all that well. We held them to 23 points but that probably said more about their offense - or lack thereof
That's what I've been saying about Wisconsin - people have been overlooking just how bad their offense was last year. Can their defense - now lead by a guy that's only been a coach for one single season - bail them out again?
Huge gamble on their part imo. They must really believe in him though, maybe just tired of losing DC's

A drop off, if even a small one, has to be expected with a rookie coach. Sure hope so anyways... Agree it is a huge gamble on their part.

To add to the theme of replies...

Yes, if we can finally stop the run.

Most years, Wisconsin probably isn't going to beat us solely through the air.

But we haven't been close to stopping their run most games.

I don't think it'll be the sole reason if we beat them this year. There were many throws last year that TA just kinda lobbed up there for anyone to come down with. Never really established a consistent run game in Madison last year either. Hopefully a more accurate passer (assuming Lee is that), another year of experience on the O-line and the switch to the 3-4 can lead us to victory this year and in the years to come.
