Assuming that you have watched his entire career closely as I have. I agree that he is not only the best QB they have had, I will say that he is one of the best FCS QB ever. He is definitely better than Oladoken , who on the Chiefs active roster. I put him in the Lance and Wentz category… and yes, I understand that his draft grade isn’t anywhere close to those guys…He will easily the best QB Iowa has had in a long time. Because Howard (OSU) and Rourke (Indiana), Sanders (CU) are all gone., he may be one of the best QB we face next year.  I am not trying to say the sky is falling, and that we have no shot against Iowa, because we can still beat them.  I am just stating that they finally have a true QB who can sling it and can pull it and run. In fact, this morning on local radio, the hosts were saying it you would have put Gronowski with Iowa’s team just a few years ago, when they were playing in Rose Bowl, that they would have been a NC contender.

I hate those bastard$, so it is rival thread, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t speak the truth. There will be guys who “poo poo” this portal guy bc either they onlylook at optics or they just hate Iowa and refuse to acknowledge anything that is good. Probably the same guys who will claim that Kittle, LaPorta, Hockenson all suck and are overrated.

I graduated from SDSU ..  I wonder if someone will / can offer me $1m

Seriously, if he thinks he can win a NC at Iowa, I might question his education at SDSU. :B)   However, he himself, will be a very good QB at Iowa.  I enjoyed following him at SDSU.   I will not like facing him on Nov 29th next year.  He has not only a good arm but can hurt you with his running.

You give Iowa too much credit.  They can ruin any QB.

 
This- they will get him beaten up. There is not a more confusing program than Iowa. They are a graveyard of QB and WR but they still seem to get decent offensive linemen and running backs. 

Their defense keeps getting 5 star Epenesa kids. Curious if the newest one is a real 5 star or just given the same rating as his brother.
