i hope that Steve can stay healthy for the whole ear, he has a special talent that doesnt come along very often. Size, Strehgth, and Speed
What you say is true my friend, but our DB's were the weakest link last year. Here is what I like about Octo..
Everybody talks about how Zac Bowman is the savior of this defense if he can get back from his knee injury, mostly because he played one amazing game at the very end of 2005 against Michigan. I don't understand why people don't say the same thing about Octavien. Think about it. Not only did he have some amazing games ala Bowman in the Alamo Bowl, but he hasn't been on the other side of the spectrum with bad games (which Bowman definetely has). ANY time that Steve has been healthy for a game he has played superbly, never once having a poor showing.
Just what I think.
Well I think you are right about Steve being much more consistant, but the corner position IMO leaves you more open for giving up a big play. I hope they both stay healthy for once in thier career. Here is what I like about Octo..

Youre right to think that Steve deserves more praise than Zach, hes played better! I am more concerned about Zach because I think Grixby starting is a bigger detriment than if Brandenburg has to replace Steve. (Yes I know Bowman may replace Jones, I just hope he doesnt.)I think you guys are misunderstanding me a little. I understand where people are coming from with their praise and wishes for Bowman to be healthy, and to an extent I agree. The point I am trying to drive is that Octo hasn't gotten that same treatment that he equally deserves, and maybe even deserves more than Zach does.
