In honsety we have been a flop team.

Look back at most of the predictions from the last four years on this board.

We have never come close to what most predicted.

We have average coaching at best. We may have reached its highest level, consistant 4 losses. Not bad, but not where most want this program to be by any means.

I see us going 9-4 at best, but feel it may be a lot worse this year.

Reading what is said and what is implied may be the problem.

No I do not like Pelini, but have said hundreds of times I do not want him fired. Nothing good could come of it. He is what we have and he needs to do the job he was hired to do.

Yes my wife hates the man, feels he is the worst possible head coach we could have. Feels he drives away top recruits and runs them off from inside the program. Not sure where I am on this.

Strong enough that we are not going to the UCLA game, she refuses to endorse anything he does. Will not support the program until he is gone. This will be the first game I have missed in California since moving here 35 years ago.

I said we would not do as well as some stating we would dominate the Big 10. Try reading the posts. I know if it is not all sunshine you guys only see what you want to see, evident in the above posts.

I stay away from this sunshine pumping hole most of the time anymore, as it is on the side of sickening to listen to the swallow anything group as long as it is positive. We have major problems, wake up and smell the coffee. In honesty this site has made me lose a lot of interest in the program.

As far as I told you so, that was not my intent. Most on here suggested we would be in MNC level with in the first couple of years, would desimate the Big 10 last year with our speed. I made note of small line backers not matching up. I mentioned the regular game we would lose that we should not.

I will state again, I do not want Pelini fired, removed or gone. This program can not stand that. We are on the edge of being and after thought now, another 5 year experiment would not do us any good.

I want him to do the job he was hired for and to accomplish his stated mission, win championships. When he does, those things he will quit being a flop in the eyes of the media.

So go ahead and keep swallowing the slop that flows readily on this board. Which I used to feel was the best board as opinions were accepted, unfortunately that has changed and if you are not in quick step with the group you are an anti fan.

Fortunately for me, my life does not revolve around an internet board as some on here seem to. I love Nebraska Football and always will, but I see it for what it is, not what some dreaming group think it is.

Who is Nebraska's #1 recruiting target?, Who's the real Number #1, Is Sparty(who apparently is a national program eyeswear2allthatsholy ) really the best team in the conference?

You know, you can just go crawl into the same hole that bucky came out of. You two seem to get off on stroking each other. You are not really needed here. Trolls are annoying. I am not on a tOSU board, a wisconsin board, nor am I on a B1G board. You should try going there where you guys can all get off on how great the B1G is and how tough this conference is, and how we don't go undefeated because we beat up on each other...man arean't we great? I have been around a long time and living in Cali, we get a lot of college fans out here that migrate from all over the country, and they are not impressed with this crappy conference. And, back to my original point (which you seem to have trouble sticking to) the rest of the world outside your insestuous little group is not impressed with the recent semi-successful run Wisconsin has been on.

Just a thought for some of the posters on here that want to rag on the Big Ten without end. It's really unnecessary. At the end of the day the Big Ten didn't play UCLA/ASU/OSU last night, NU, Illinois and UW did, and we all lost.

Don't take it out on Bucky. I like having opposing fans on the board that add to the conversation instead of constantly troll threads. "Relevancy" doesn't have a measuring stick. Seeing as Wisconsin just won the conference championship, I'd say that makes them relevant.

Bucky, while I agree with what you've said, you know some fans say stupid things when their team loses. Don't take it personally. I generally avoid the board after losses because of posts like this. I'm sure several people will slam me for several "wrong" things I've said. It's easy to be happy when you're winning. We have some fans that make us look silly after losses. While I'm less optimistic about the season today than I was yesterday, the season continues, nonetheless. The majority of us here understand this, don't want Bo fired, are upset about the loss, hope the players and coaches respond positively, and pray for better tackling drills this week.

We fell out of the rankings. Other teams that lost (Wisconsin) were similarly punished. We have a long season ahead of us, and a lot of improvements to make. Let's stop bashing each other's intelligence and opposing fans that have come to the rescue of OUR conference. Several B1G teams had a bad week. Better luck next week.

I call BS. His first post was saying that HIS team fell out of the rankings, as well. His second was in response to someone saying we are part of the worst conference in the country. I didn't see his "na na na na boo boo" post. If I missed it, I apologize. All reasonable talk went out the window when "program relevance" became the topic of conversation.

Well, if you look at some of the other posts by this troll (in another thread) he came in and actually said that he came to gloat about our loss to ucla. So no....no BS
