You misunderstood.  I said I had "skimmed" the rules, but didn't really care for them.

If you want to continue to post here. Read, understand and re-read if necessary. You don't have to care for them, but you do have to follow them. Otherwise, go to a board where you haven't been banned.

1.That being said, if this is how this offense is "supposed" to work, then it is rather unwatchable, IMO. Its as boring as watching a Big 10 team. I'll trade Barneyball for the entire offensive staff.

For god's sake why don't pick some other team to grace with your "support". In fact, if you like barneyball so much I'm sure ISU needs all the "fans" they can get and would welcome you with open arms. We certainly would welcome a jerk like yourself leaving the husker fold.

So we are to believe the guys who do this for a living gave him 4 stars for being overweight and slow? Get real. Obviously you haven't seen game film on him, otherwise you would know he is far from being slow. This guy to the untrained eye like yourself might seem slow and overweight, but he's far from it. He reminds of of former Chicago Bear lineman Bob "The Beast" Sapp.

I like the direction of where our Huskers are headed.

Which is where??? The D is a little better than last year, as are the special teams, but thats not saying much. The O is worse, and ya'll cant blame that one on Joe Dailey, as Taylor isnt much better than Joe.

This team is 2 plays away from being 2-3 right now :wtf

They have shown tremendous heart and played very hard, but they are not close to being a top team, unfortunately.

The key to containing Smith is not a spy. We didnt spy on him last year. It is interior pressure. We need to have a great game from our tackles, or blitz effectively to cover for them. Smith is dangerous when he steps up in the pocket and has a chance to run through the line, not around it. Its all about LeKevin and Titus. Both has a great game against Missou last year, even if it didnt show in the stat column, and the collapsing pocket was proof of it.

We did too put a spy on Smith last year. In fact, Callahan said at the post game news conference that the spy was a big reason that we contained Smith for the most part during the game. It was two years ago when Pelini said that he never heard of using a spy and that it doesn't exist when we did not use a spy.

Ross with his 4.5 speed is just enough to make him dangerous, and IMO, shorter RBs can be an asset as they hide behind blockers, (Emmitt Smith, Barry Sanders).

Yeah? To bad those 2 guys you mentioned were behind some of the greatest offensive lines in football. For example Emmitt behind an offensive line for the Cowboys, that won 3 superbowls in 4 years at Dallas. When you have receivers who can strech the field, you have more then just a RB to worry about. When you have receivers who can strech the field AND a mobile QB, that makes it even easier for a guy like Darren Sproles for example to rack up some huge numbers. Look what happened to Sproles last year when Roberson and his receivers graduated.

The same way you described it. Get shorts guys, like 5-6 and 5-5 who are 300 pounds but can run a 4.39  :clap You don't need to have speed to stretch the field. It would be nice to have all your WR's running 4.3, but in a realistic world, that VERY rarely ever happens. There's other ways to strech the field. You seem to supposedly have all the answers, figure it out. Think about it...oh wait..you already tried that like i said above and look where it got you. :rollin

You're an idiot, skers. We're pissed 'cause we care about Husker football more than most other things and we are going to have our 2nd losing season in a row. The fact is, our program should have never gotten this bad. I support my team, but I refuse to act like it's OK when we are this bad.
