Any context?

He got a championship,  now he's going for the money?

Alma Matter?
You strike when it's hot.  Because you choose where to make home.

Pretty sure that Ryan Day will go NFL soon, after next year, as long as he beats Michigan.  He got the chip, which welcomes him back to Columbus.  But he needs to also beat Michigan for ego and a free dinner.  And then, he will bolt and go Pro.  He's taken a lot of heat and it's time to go out as a winner and be loved by OSU.

He's also a good coach that the NFL has always been inquiring about it.  Personally, I think if he had beat Michigan and won the Chip, he'd be at the Saints today as their new coach. As a Saints fan, I would be down for that.

Going back to DC Bowles, he knows what's going on with regard to the future.  And so if PSU calls with stability and tons of cash, you go for it without question or 2nd guessing.  Especially if you believe Ryan Day will soon leave the program.

That's my read on it. And I read these things very well.   ;)
