The real story in the big 14 today was Michigan, Ohio St and Wisconsin, same as it ever was. Not Riley and the jv squad.

From what I saw today any of those three would have beat NU by 24.

Wisconsin offense not that explosive. The other two probably right.

Well, I am disappointed but there were still some good things to take away from the game. But for the hideous punt return (none btw) game and terrible first game jitters for the new punter (let's hope!), the final score might have been close to what I predicted at 52-7. We could have easily had another TD and held them to one score or couple field goals.

Way too many penalties AGAIN.

Poorly prepared to play. Looked like the first game last year. We should have been at least second or third game 'ready' already. Not nearly enough full contact and scrimmaging in practice.

Not prepared to throw the ball well. How can we not throw some basic passes better?
