I agree. I love the option just as much as the next Nebraska fan, but Taylor simply can't run it the way it is designed. They need to stick to the zone-read for him.

I know that play was awhile ago, but Georgia absolutely blew up that option. There were 3 defenders on our side of the line there. If he pitches it, its a bigger loss or a fumble. There was absolutely nothing Martinez could do with that, and he chose the option to cause the least damage. Maybe we shouldn't run that option because a fast SEC defense will eat it up.
