Satterfield stunk at South Carolina and unfortunately is doing the same here. It's probably not a good sign that Gamecock fans were happy when we hired him.

Fair point about defense, they set the tone and look dog doo, but arguably speaking, ST cost us 3pts, or we would have kicked on 4th. 

In 2024, football is dominated by offense and we have an anemic offense, for the last 2 decades it hasn’t been specific player(s) it’s been about coaching, and 7pts in one half is about a specific coach

Fidone leads us in catches (4) and yards (40) so far today. Not sure what is expected there, but they have been involved. 

 
it’s really hard to know what to criticize right now. Every phase is bad and this team has a perpetually fragile disposition that will only make things worse. 
 

Offense is and has been below average pretty much all year.  The defense got badly exposed by Illinois and that looks like who they are. Tony White doesn’t seem to perform well against any kind of balanced offense. His defense feasts on one dimensional or physically overmatched opponents. Not gonna see too many of those to finish the year.

Because Satterfield has proven he's an awful offensive coordinator. Look at the time of possession. Our offense can't sustain a drive

I used to buy into this thinking a lot also, but not so much anymore. If our corners can't make a play on fade after fade after fade, we just won't win a game like this.

If we had somehow had a grinding drive towards the end of the second half, yes - maybe they have one touchdown less.

But our defense is atrocious right now and that's the story in this game. That and Dowdell's fumble in the red zone. I can buy an argument that it could maybe be 21-14 at half if a couple things went differently, but our defense is the overwhelming problem.

 
I doubt if the admin (or anybody else) feels very good about this exchange with the punk.  So I'll not participate with it from this point on.

I watched TE's since Bo beat us across the middle with drags, slants or delayed routes.....I hate if for Fidone.  Wouldn't be surprised if Nelson hit the portal.  Talent being wasted...

It's ok, he probably dislikes you crying about others opinions and not being able to take sarcasm without throwing a tantrum.  We know, only your opinion counts and any others should not have any dissenting ones.

 
IU fan here coming in peace!! You all are so close to hitting on all cylinders! I have no idea how Cignetti captures lightning in a bottle but he does. I saw a couple of posts earlier about not liking him, and I completely get it!! I’m not a fan of arrogance or cockiness, so I try try to seperate the attitude from the coaching! I have no doubt Ruhle will adjust- he’s a helluva coach! Btw, your board is very enjoyable to read- y’all have knowledge here (I usually scope our opponents boards to see what we’re up against)- it’s refreshing from the normal in-fighting I see.
