The surrender whites strike again!

I don't think any amount of halftime adjustments can fix the fact that this team is dead flat in every possible way today.

I used to buy into this thinking a lot also, but not so much anymore. If our corners can't make a play on fade after fade after fade, we just won't win a game like this.

If we had somehow had a grinding drive towards the end of the second half, yes - maybe they have one touchdown less.

But our defense is atrocious right now and that's the story in this game. That and Dowdell's fumble in the red zone. I can buy an argument that it could maybe be 21-14 at half if a couple things went differently, but our defense is the overwhelming problem.
I think that teams have found a way to scheme our D and I wonder the disconnect (if any) between Butler and Knight regarding philosophy.  I mean at the Bills the DB's played lights out.  I know NFL vs college, but their play has seemed to regress form last year to my eyes.

Because Satterfield has proven he's an awful offensive coordinator. Look at the time of possession. Our offense can't sustain a drive

I agree that he should be doing a lot better. But we did sustain two great drives, and on one of them a talentless running back fumbled away 3 - 7 points.

Could this roster boat race this Indiana team with as bad as our defense is playing even if we had <insert your favorite offensive coordinator here> putting this offense together this year?

But I agree that Satterfield could and should be doing a lot better. No defense of him here.

Yes. We get blitzed on 1st down constantly and Satterfield just calls vanilla zone handoff plays right into it and gets stuff. I agree - that stuff is bad by us for sure.

But I also would like to never see Dowdell take another snap unless both Johnsons are injured.

By all means carry on.  More fight and testosterone being presented here than in Bloomington

Not much testosterone from that guy.. but I agree.  I just don't want to distract... also I'm not as mad at our team coaches as most here.. I'm disappointed in the ST coach..  but I think the whole staff is developing the same as the team is.

On pace to allow 700 yards but you're not worried about it?
