He has shown a history of making bad choices and his mechanics fall apart.
Can you imagine Bo giving him a full-on butt-chewing like he did at T-Martinez and it helping at all? I cannot.

Tommy has shown little/no improvement with his mechanics, and I really haven't seen him take much initiative in trying to get better. At least Martinez made a concerted effort in the offseason to go work with specialists in an effort to improve his game.

 
After watching Armstrong play (sort of) tonight, can anyone honestly tell me that he would've beaten Purdue? I might've believed you before tonight, but now... nope, not buying it.

 
The Defense did a pretty damned good job against a strong Iowa Offense. Sure, there were a couple of big plays they gave up, but they rose to the challenge.

But who starts him? Who calls the crappy pass plays? Doesn't develop the QB's on scholarship? Coaches...

did you watch fyfe against Purdue? QB recruiting just hasn't been good. Hope POB is good and ready.
