***Official Iowa Game Discussion Thread***

I just don't understand why they keep going for the Home Run ball. The short passes seem to be working. take it out in chunks.
Because these coaches don't operate on common sense. They are opposed to using common sense.
In all truthiness, though, many of these players just aren't that good.
Recruiting rankings say otherwise.
These seniors haven't been recruited for years, so I don't think that's pertinent.

At this point we could go wildcat if MR does not want to use Darlington. TA will not do well against Iowa if he cannot run. Unlike other teams, Iowa's DC is not stupid.

This team just sadly played an entire half with a "ho-hum" attitude.

You cannot win championship level football with that kind of attitude.

You need a confident, border-line nasty, fire-in-your-belly, PHYSICAL attitude in a 3 phases of the game.

Nebraska's got a long way to go folks.
then when the camera pans to the sideline. Everybody has "is the game over yet" look. Reilly looks like he wants to do something but can't/won't.
These are still mainly Pelini spawn, though. The options are limited.

I'm willing to give Banker another year. The defense has made drastic improvements since last year.

Langsdorf's offense hasn't impressed me these 2 seasons. I wouldn't shed a tear if Riley made a change here...he won't do it, but one can dream.
I would hope we make improvements from probably the second-worst defense in program history.

Going from terrible to average isn't much to write home about.
To be fair to Banker, he didn't have total buy-in from all of his defensive players last year.

I do believe he's had that this season.
That was the story. But the results in a few games down the stretch last year don't look much different than last year so.....

Just stop with that BS.

That's such a horsesh#t excuse.

This is about the time we start picking on each other's posts, calling names and ultimately getting warned by the forum police. Losing ruins everything.
