Feels a little strange that tonight might be one of the last times I see Felix Hernandez as a starting pitcher for the Mariners.  I still remember him coming up as a 19 year old wunderkind in '05.  While it's highly unlikely he would pitch in the postseason should the Ms make it to the divisional round, I hope he gets a chance to experience it.

 
That curveball was pure filth.  Unfortunately his pitching after that was no laughing matter.  KF was out there looking like a slow pitch softball pitcher.  The Rangers were squaring up seemingly all his pitches.  Need Marco to come up clutch to secure the bag and get the series dub.  

Thursday's Astros game pits Paxton against Verlander which will be awesome.  More awesome is the game is at Houston so I'll actually be able to watch more than a few innings before falling asleep on my couch!

Zunino hit a ball that would've literally gone out of the stadium.

Big time series starting tonight against the As.

 
Ms take 2 of 3 against the best team in the NL West and lose ground because, of course, baseball.

31 games left...Ms probably need to go 21-10 minimum down the stretch to have a shot.  Prepare your sacrifices to the baseball gods accordingly Ms fans.
