Play action works, regardless how wel the run game works. The fake draws the Lb’s up. 

It brought up the safety, which it didn’t do earlier in the game

I don't mind the shot.  WR really didn't adjust well to the not perfect throw.  Probably would have run it on 2nd.  This is still a winnable game

I liked the home run shot on first down, but if you don't get it, you have to run the ball on second down...for no other reason than to tick some time off the clock.

I don’t mind taking shots deep, but get a first down and get to midfield first. The clock is your friend right now.
