***Official Northern Illinois Game Discussion Thread***

Here's to a sound game and a comfortable win by 14 points and scoring 42ish and only allowing 16ish.  Daddy needs his payouts.

What will the weather be?   That can always be a great equalizer or in games where the teams are otherwise, more or less, equal (the case far too often as we know) as is the case today.  I think we should have a little edge if we are playing in rain and need to just grind out a run game win, but of course that assumes our coaches will be willing to do that.  If the weather is OK, then expect as many passes as runs and it will depend on how match catches and runs our receivers can make and if we have blocking for them.

The defense will need to play much more agressively as we can't continue to play " the fraidy cat" scheme through the remainder of the season as Big Ten teams will stuff the ball down our throats on a weekly basis.  It will be brutal if that is the case.

If the huskers need the weather to help in beating NIU they are broken beyond repair.I expect a close one till the half and walk away in the 3rd and 4th.

Zac Taylor is in the house!  Figures after all my love for the guy that he comes back for a game the one week I give up my ticket.  Farts!

Kalu playing would not be wise.  Let him rest.  Hammies aren't something to f#*k around with, they'll linger.  Plus Reed played VERY well on a big stage against a good offense

I'm mad I can't get the game to stream on Sling due to FS1 not giving Sling the rights to the game.  OH well maybe radio I guess today.

I wonder if we were at full strength in the secondary how Reed would have played starting over Newby these last few weeks. Something to ponder. Dude has a hybrid body already.
