We need to not get too fancy on offense.  The trick plays aren't necessary.  I'm not sure who is more at fault for the fumble, the o-line or the QB, but it looked like the wrong read on a run-pass option.

It’s an “all hands on deck” kind of season this early on.

O-Line—no one called out that the defender was coming through clean to the QB it appears. 
 

But playcalling didn’t help either.

We have zero talent on offense plus our OC is clueless plus our HC cannot recruit talent judging from him going after Sims and chasing Casey Thompson away. The end result is that we have a middle school offense playing in power 5 competition.

Haarberg is already dinged up three drives into the game. We're going to be running a Wildcat offense full time by mid-season with this line.

So far the only successful drive we have had we ran the option it’s getting more and more obvious this needs to be a part of what we do
