One of my favorite toys/things to do growing up

Little boys??

Just playin fro! I remember making huge piles of leaves and then making spectacular diving catches into the pile on fall afternoons. Simpler times lol

Speaking of old days, this is one of those things I used to hate having to do, but now I look back at it as some of the best afternoons in my life. We had a wood-burning stove for heat when I was a kid, so my job every Saturday afternoon in the Fall was splitting wood. I would run an extension cord from the garage out by the wood pile, turn on the game, and split wood all afternoon.

A sledge and wedges, an old AM radio and Lyell Bremser. Now those were the days.

I just saw this thread! That's funny that my first thought was Legos.

Now that I have a kid, I got an excuse to buy Legos. LOTS of them.
