**Official Ohio State game discussion thread**

I don't think there's any need to flip out that we're getting beaten by a better team. Our defense was doing fine early in the game but we're having trouble now. We'll need to pull out some offense and get the defense to feed off of that to get back in the game.
Nebraska should give up 35 pts in one half to NOBODY. Standards MUST be higher than that, or we're not even an also ran. We will never even win another conference title, much less a national title.

  • Why do we return the kickoffs when we never get past the 15?
  • Why does Beck call straight drop back passes?
  • Why does Bo stop pressuring BM when we were killing BM with pressure and he is killing us with no pressure?

Need to chill out, folks. Lots of football left to be played. While we've been our own worst enemy the first half and have had virtually no answer for Braxton Miller, we have to believe that Pelini will adjust and hopefully slow them down.

If we come out and score, it's a 4 point game. It hasn't been pretty, but it's far from over.

Really? This game isn't over......defense is playing OK...Martinez staring down receivers....it ain't over boys...Ohio state is in a dog fight and we are Nebraska!!
Really? They played great in the first qtr.....pathetic in the 2nd...overall a 35 point half is not OK. We haven't been Nebraska since Tom retired from coaching....sad but true.

Ohio St is not the better team, maybe better coached, but not the better team. You take Braxton Miller away and they are getting blown out, besides the 14 points we gave them.

If we come out and do zero on that first drive.................we're in BIG trouble. We better have some major adjustments at halftime to stop Braxton. The only way to beat them is to keep him in the pocket and make him beat us with his arm. Having said that the secondary is playing crappy as well.

At least Nebraska is usually a second half team. We've got the fight of our lives in this half. Horrible coaching is the problem. Urban Meyer vs. the penalty-ridden, turnover-ridden Bo Pelini team. I want to believe...but this is just too typical.

Haven't even touched Miller for 5 quarters now including last year...unless they can suddenly and magically figure out how to do it, this 2nd half will get ugly.
That's not true. We touched him like Sandusky at a pajama party during the second half of last year's game before he came up lame.
