His job performance has not slipped to the point yet where firing should be on the table. However, it can be requested that changes on both sides of the ball be made so that the Nebraska brand would quit being embarrassed. If he acknowledges that he will makes changes then he should be given at least 2 or 3 years for those changes to be implemented. If after that there is no sign of improvement....then his job should be on the line.FLU - Question. From what you've seen from tonight's game.. if you were the AD would you fire Bo Pelini tomorrow? Or would fire Bo Pelini at seasons end with that decision made tonight? What say you?
Honestly, I don't think you can fire him unless the team achieves 8 wins or less. Even then, I'd think about giving him one more year to get things done. However, that being said, I think that with the talent we have, with our favorable schedule next year, Bo could conceivably get things "back on track" next year and that would give him even more time.
