I am sure Helfrich has a little personal dislike for Nebraska considering it was last years Nebraska game that was the beginning of his downfall.

There are situations where I’d be okay with giving a coach time.  But those are times when said coach has shown some signs of program improvement.  Riley has done jack.  Firing his initial staff more shows his inept thought process when hiring them in the first place.  Not stepping in to enforce accountability in the program from having the same piss poor performing players(the OLine especially) to a, as much as I love the kid, crap punishment to Stanley for his situation this summer.  A precedent was set in Corvallis and as much as a lot of us hoped he’d change he hasn’t.  Actions like these do not deserve more time.  Something obviously isn’t working, why continue that status quo???  Enjoy the pay day
