Lets just get to the end of the season. Let all the players dont want to be here transfer and we should be better next year. Not just record wise. I like the recruits coming in and the ones that are rrdshirted.

I think the players want to be here. Maybe Riley doesn't....... He might have over estimated the fan base, expectations etc... This a$$ kicking isn't a result of "disgruntled" players.....

Many people on this board were unhappy when MR was hired, and even more unhappy when he hired his staff. I expected MR to do worse than Bo, but not this bad. MR and SE overestimated MR's abilities. This is ridiculous.

I would like to suggest that to put a good face on this season that we have a bowl game in Memorial Stadium against one of the other Nebraska state colleges. Maybe we could get a win to end the season??????

Neb vs the 8 man state champions.

But we would have to play 11 against their 8 to be competitive

The only lack of heart I see is here in this chatroom. Riley may not be Weeb Ewbank, but he has coached well enough to win a lot of games this year that turned into L's based on some last second fluke plays and bad luck.

When nebraska comes back to win this game today you guys should feel awfully embarrassed.

This same talent won 9 games last year. These losses are on coaching. Plain and simple.

Ugh, the coaches have a lot to answer for but this is just not true. We had Ameer and Randy last year. Who took there place this year. We should be better than this but this team isn't as good as last years.

You guys are really grasping at straws.

All I'm saying is there is not as much talent in this team as last year. It's not the same talent, your statement is false. If you want to blame the coaching staff that's fine they've made bonehead decisions to go with bad play calls but are you seriously saying we are as equally talented as last year?

As a whole, yes this team is just as talented as last year. You can say we don't have this player or that player, but the team itself is just as talented.
But, for the sake of argument. Let's say Bo is fired 2 years ago and Riley coaches us last year. Do you honestly believe we would have won more than 6 games last year.
