*** Official Purdue Game Thread ***

I feel kinda like I did after the Colorado game... not happy at all of course but reasonably optimistic. I liked seeing fire out of Frost and I think we need to see some more of that cause it really seemed to get us going in the 2nd half.

But I agree with you ref Brohm.  Year 2 vs game 4.  2 years of recruiting his kids. He got Moore.  Frost wanted him as well.....Brohm got “his” playmakers.  I’m not happy, but gotta be patient.

If I were Frost, I would keep my mouth shut and not say any game is winnable. Since you do not have a team that can back you up, just keep your mouth shut and say that we will try our best to limit penalties and keep working hard. No need to say anything about our opponents. If anything, say that they are really good and we need to work very hard to try and beat them.

 
It was nice to see some more aggressive playcalling in the second half. First half we threw too many screens and didn’t seem like we attempted to throw the ball downfield. Hopefully, we see more of the second half going forward. Sometimes you have to take a chance and make your playmakers make plays.
