Ehhh, they haven’t played a ranked team either.  

I get that, but building a winning program starts with beating teams you play every year. Bret has done well within the Big Ten West, which is great for a program like Illinois.

Honestly, I’d rather watch the busses play than continue to watch minute by minute updates on the camera crew.

Yea.  What's a winning record mean anyway......That "hasn't beat a ranked team" doesn't mean much looking at potentially our 6th losing season in a row.  I'd take their 5-1 over any record we've had to this point since 2016...

I think if we win this game by some miracle, Anthony Grant will have 125 on the ground.

Only real way I see us winning this one.

Would be great, but I have seen enough evidence with quasi-stats from my buddies @suh_fan93 and @Mavric that tells me Purdue will sell out to stop the run.  They are very stingy and good about that.  Near the top of the league.  See Minnesota game (no passing threat).

But, you can throw on them.  Quick strikes to move the ball and spread the field.  Take shots down field.  I think we can do that successfully enough, which will then open up the lanes for Grant (running game).

So many close games…Michigan st Wisconsin to OT. Alabama Tennessee is a barn burner. TCU OSU to OT…I hope our game is competitive and we end up winning….I know I drank koolaid
