****Official USC Game Day Thread****

So, the prevailing wisdom out there is we see something in USC's punt blocking and we took the time out to set up the punt, and a potential block. We were close the punt before, and we were close this time, too.

I guess I understand the logic. We just need faster punt rushers.

Bingo, we are about half a second away from a block. I didn't hate the timeout usage for that purpose. I still don't understanding using IGC every other return. He seems to be making some awful judgment calls on when to fair catch or let go.

I haven't seen much difference in the Offense except for a few quick release passes. Bonner can make plays, Barney is fantastic, Emmet Johnson is the better back. Why does their O-line protect their QB better and their RB can always seem to run straight through like a ghost? I feel like Raiola has picked up a little more confidence, but not much open. I hope Dana does something radical and actually make big adjustments at the half. Still confident in my prediction

I would love to know how in the hell you get to this stage in your football career and think it’s a good idea to fair catch at the 4 yard line. Seriously. There is no way in hell he was coached to do that.

surely he catches a lot of s#!t from his teammates.

right?

Less of the dump passes at the line of scrimmage and more of the 4 or 5 yards out.  If Dylan hadn't made some poor decisions, Huskers would probably have a few more points.

I would say this game is heading towards one of our patented meltdowns on the last drive where Raiola throws an interception when we are trying to either win or tie. We have seen this movie a billion times. USC have us where they want us. They tried to give us 70 yards in penalties but we are above taking advantage of penalties. It is not our DNA. We like to lose with our merit.

I really hope this teams proves me wrong. Please prove me wrong. I know Rhule has no confidence but the fans still pray for miracles.
