To my knowledge, nobody in the videos below died.

There was a flash flood in Ellicott City, Maryland last night. People at a local restaurant helped rescue a woman trapped in her car as the floodwaters rose.

It will be interesting to see what we get. Depending on when I look at the website, it's predicted anywhere from 1" - 8". But, now I see it's not predicting snow, it's predicting "ice pellets".

Interesting....

 
Question for the NE folks. Was this year pretty tame? Usually May is full of thunderstorms and tornado warnings, but I haven't seen much on here about it.
