Officials

Well good for them. I'm assuming they will still wear stripes and throw yellow colored flags like all other refs right?

The point is:

1. Is this a flag happy crew?

2. Do they call holding calls rarely or quite frequently?

3. How much leeway they give defenders and the frequency of pass interference calls?

4. Are they quick to throw a flag on aggressive hits to receivers and quarterbacks?

5. How close do they scrutinize pick plays?

There is quite a bit of info to be gleaned from knowing who the refs are and how to scheme your game plan.

Do you really think the refs will call a roughing the passer on Texas? Or holding on the undermaned Texas O-line? Do the officials immediately throw a flag when Asante is within 5 yards of a ball carrier?

The Big 12 is going to ensure that the Longhorns and their Heisman hopeful walk out of Arlington 13-0

Just saying...

Officiating has been especially bad this year, and anyone who says otherwise hasnt watched any football. I've said it once and I'll say it a thousand more times, refs on the take in sports is as deep seeded as athletes using steroids. What we watch is just glorified WWE. I fully expect us to get 3-4 personal foul penalties and i would guess Texas wont receive one holding call much like the OU game. My guess for penalty yardage would be NU 10-100, TX 4-30.

They did nothing to ensure us to walk out of College Station 12-0.

Just looking for an equal opportunity is good. It's those freakin' makeup calls that burn my britches. chap my hide. :)
