He didn't give a clear reason as to why he is waiting. But, I agree, why wait?

"The Nebraska staff brought some examples of the papers that we will sign," Lynn said. "It never really came up, but I am not planning on signing until February. I think that is something that I will need to talk about with the staff."

 
It’s pretty cool that all the current commits are on a group chat together. Hopefully no hard feelings from Wandale about letting the info slip early.
