My question is, how did you find out about this petition?

For kicks, I created a petition on the White House website, just to understand the process. This is what they sent me in return:

So for you to have known about this petition when it only had two signatures means either you or someone you know created it. Was that "someone you know" someone on another message board, a friend, someone from twitter, or what?

People don't hate us for "crap like this," they hate us because we're Nebraska fans and they aren't.

People would hate us if we were the bestest, nicest, kindest, most loveable people in the whole wide world and gave every visiting fan a free puppy when they come to games - because we root for the team they don't root for. Nothing we can do will change the fact that they hate us, and we shouldn't care if they hate us. We hate them in the same manner and fashion, using the same words and inane reasons for hating them.
