If you've got these screenshots, post them. Also post the screenshot of you being banned with the explained reason being that you were negative. Would love to see those.

First of all nobody literally gives a single s#!t about how amazing of a teacher you are. Second of all, I'm worried you're going to need to go to the chiropractor you're patting yourself on the back way, way too hard. Third of all, there's a difference between being unrealistic with things you can control and things you can't. Your perseverance and dedication as a teacher is on you - how your favorite football team does on the recruiting trail doesn't have a single ounce to do with you, so not sure how or why you're bringing up your personal life in regards to expectations surrounding recruiting.

Your standards are that we're underperforming based on what you would like and want us to be. But reality doesn't care about what you want.

Mavric's standards are based on what's reasonable considering what and where we are, namely, a team with five straight losing seasons and 20 years since a championship or top ten finish. 

One is rooted in actually looking at the situation, the other is rooted in wishful thinking. Neither is wrong, but one is, by definition, unreasonable. That's yours.

Sorry, which is it. Conference or national titles? You can't say both and then only use the evidence for one.

Plenty of schools not recruiting top 10 classes every year but winning conference championships.

I've never had a problem admitting when I'm wrong. Unfortunately others don't do the same.

Top 20 should be the minimum, but it's extremely difficult to crack the top 15.

Nebraska needs land 6-8 4* players per year at a minimum, I think that's realistic and doable with the resources put into the program. Does doing that mean we win the conference? Probably not. But you at least have a punchers chance if once-in-a-decade breaks fall your way. 

I do find your post about being banned for being pessimistic interesting - I'm typically the harshest poster regarding recruiting and our overall performance and have never been banned or warned that I can remember. 

 
I would say as a top ten blue blood program, we should be recruiting top 15 classes with a top ten class now and then.  I suppose there are multiple rankings like recruiting ratings, so it probably is variable but over the past 5 years, probably ave around 25. Past ten years, perhaps about same. 
Before that, it was more likely top ten.   But not so much attn was paid to opinions outside the local media. 

 
Was planning to visit Auburn this weekend but is no longer doing that.  He said he wasn't sure if he actually had an offer there or not.  They are still recruiting him.
