Very good taco place!Sneaky good taco place: Jonesy's at 1502 S 60th St, Omaha, NE 68106.
Only hotel I've stayed at in Omaha was Hotel Deco downtown. It's swell. Also spent a night at the Aksarben Suites on 72nd. Do not stay there. It is not swell.
Taking a weekend trip to the zoo next month with the family. Inquiring about a few things:
- Best hotel to stay at - doesn't have to be right next to the zoo
- Best restaurants around this area
- Best places to shop...to keep the wife happy and I want some Husker gear
The Old Market is a neighborhood located in downtown Omaha, Nebraska, United States, and is bordered by South 10th Street to the east, 13th Street to the west, Farnam Street to the north and Jackson Street to the South
You can also do the park front to back and then take the sky lift back to the front and avoid the hills. The purest advice I can offer is walking the park counterclockwise. Starting with the African Grasslands (hitting the indoor exhibits at your discretion). This way you'll only need to walk uphill if you want to see the lions. Which I recommend. By the time you loop around to the Gorilla Valley exhibit you can take the elevator back up that godforsaken hill.
Huskerhounds on 84th just south of Center and north of Interstate 80 for your Husker gear.
And we would like to invite you to the Blackstone area for good bars good food and good fun, up Farnam to 40th
Still there. I believe its the last true Husker store in town.Is Husker Hounds still open? I thought I heard a radio advert saying they were going out of business. That could easily be another Husker store though.
Cosign the Blackstone area. Lots of really cool places.
