What did NU have that was a major violation?

I think it was womens softball.

The ticket deal was a minor infraction, but there could have been something in 1987,can not remember what it was.

Nebraska has 6 major violations across 4 different sports.

Football - 1967, 1975, 1986

Women's Softball - 1986

Men's Swimming - 2002

Wrestling - 2002

Only four schools from major conferences. Two are B1G. Quite impressive. :)
Could have had one more with Iowa, but they somehow let ineligible swimmers swim in 2003.
According to the NCAA Legislative Services Database Iowa shows the following major infractions:

2006 Men's Swimming (PDF File)

1986 Women's Golf, Men's Swimming, Women's Softball, Women's Volleyball (PDF File)

1964 Men's Basketball (PDF File)

How does any school ever have NCAA violations in any sport other than men's basketball and football? Does anyone really care if a "blue-chip" swimmer from California is swayed to Florida State instead of Wisconsin because of a little improper recruiting?
