OT Alaric Jackson [Iowa - Signed LOI]

Last three predictions on 247 were for Nebraska and by non-Nebraska writers. However, the last one was over a month ago. So not sure how much those mean anymore.

 
Word is he wants to commit to Michigan State but he's a Plan B for them.

If they don't take him, it's Nebraska, Iowa and Wisconsin. But Iowa only may take one more so either Farniok or Jackson.

 
Visiting Iowa this weekend.

Saw another report that he'd commit to Michigan State if they'd take him but they're still looking elsewhere.

Same place was guessing that Iowa would get either Farniok or Jackson and Nebraska would get the other one.

He said Michigan State is actually recruiting him to play DLine which is what he prefers.

Has basketball offers from Oakland (Mich.) and Detroit to play basketball but prefers football.

Announcing a day or two before NSD.

 
Michigan State already has two four-star DEs plus two four-star DTs. Not sure how many they are taking.

According to 247, the only other DLs they are in on are DE Prince Sammons from Cincinnati and DT Karamo Dioubate from Philly. Both are four-stars. According the their Crystal Ball picks, MSU isn't a favorite for either.

I know, but having a guy who is being recruited on both sides of lines would be nice to have.

Hey, Dantonio isn't stupid. Tell the recruit what he wants to hear, get him on campus, and then move him where you want him.
