OT Andrus Peat [Stanford Commit]

Us pulling Todd away from home should put us in the lead for Andrus. Much like the AG situation, it might be tough for Andrus and the Peat family to not want their boys to stick together. USC and Clemson will be tough competition for him though, it will be a battle.

 
It probably goes without saying that this thread will be one of the hotter threads to follow in the coming months for obvious reasons. Especially if he follows big bro's blueprint and drags it out until NSD 2012.

 
Andrus is very close to his brother, but he said it doesn't mean he favors Nebraska at this point.
"It would be nice to play with him, but I just want to find the right place for me," Andrus said. "I'll look at depth charts, see if I can come in and play early. I'll have to weigh everything. ... Seeing my brother go through it, it gives me a head start to my recruiting process. It helps a lot."

I don't see him waiting until NSD to decide either. I bet he pulls the trigger partway through his senior season at the latest. He'll get tired of the process soon enough.

 
Alabama and Florida State have offered.

Though he doesn't list any favorites, Andrus wants to visit the schools he's serious in and is thinking about committing early.

 
Todd Peat told the OWH that Andrus wasn't around during most of his recruiting. He wanted Andrus to go through it himself. I would think we'll be right in it until the end though. Got my fingers crossed!
