OT Broderick Shull [Auburn - Signed LOI]

This video is seriously awesome! Broderick seems like a great young man with so much to offer…and not just to the football team! Hope we see him with that N on his helmet! 

 
I don’t know anything about this kid other than his rating and this video.  
 

I want this kid at Nebraska. And, I’m even more impressed with the video than his rating. 

 
I know it could be a plethora of other things, but it’s crazy to me that we were tied up with Auburn and then after his official visit to them he puts them at the top.  I have scarlet colored glasses so I find it hard to comprehend how his visit there would outdue his experience here.

From the interview he did with our media people, he seemed like a guy that marched to the beat of his own drum. Not that it was a bad thing, but I didn't get the impression that football was his passion. Not to say he wouldn't be an outstanding player, but I'm just not convinced that it was a significant miss given the youth we have along the line.

we absolutely need four star guys. We have thin quality depth at OT.

Agree with wistrom disciple, talked to some webbies and they seemed like they were not too disappointed when he  transferred. Not that he was a bad kid, just different.

His interviews were a bit odd and I got the impression that other hobbies were more important to him. That is irrelevant on where he is going. Do I wish it were here? Sure, but we have a good shot at several other prospects within the class so this isn't too concerning. 

As for depth, we have three dudes with significant playing experience and a good handful of younger guys waiting their turn to crack the lineup. I wouldn't exactly consider the depth thin at this point.
