Shawn Hammerbeck (still in play)
Broderick Shull (Auburn)
Alai Kalaniuvalu (Gorman guy but did not visit at the same time) longshot
Marcus Garcia (A&M)
To name a few
The biggest one recently would’ve been Shull. That was their number one guy. Commits to Oregon State because of family ties rather than him wanting to be there. Hence the de-commit.But none of those changed status in the past five days where Nebraska would have gone back and given Tapu the green light.
Yep.Supposedly he has an uncle in the Oregon State program. He said he felt pressured to make family happy so he originally went with the Beavers. After a day or two, he decided that's not what he really wanted to do so he flipped.
That's the story anyway.

he also said he was committed to Oregon St. can't trust himTapu said he is NOT taking an LDS mission trip.
Mav I am agreeing with you. Previously it was thought that was not the case.Shull committed to Auburn three weeks ago. The Huskers knew that before Tapu even got to campus. They wouldn't have told Tapu he couldn't commit based on Shull then went back and changed their mind to give Tapu the green light.

I was just listing top tackle prospects.
But yes, he had a green light on his OV. Was planning to. Then took the trip to OSU like you said and felt pressured into committing there due to family reasons.
This is what I meant, I was following up with BigRedBuster. However, if Tapu is being taken as a true Tackle then I'm wrong! Either way, Nebraska needs OL recruits. Hopefully they continue to make noise with other prospects.OK. Your posts didn't sound like that.
@Dr. Strangelove speculated that we missed on other players so we circled back to Tapu
You said the Nevada players were interior guys.
@BigRedBuster asked who we missed on
Then you listed several guys we missed on
To me, @BigRedBuster was following up on @Dr. Strangelove's question about who we missed on to circle back to Tapu. Sorry if I misunderstood.
