I think we would have heard if their high-profile transfers last year (Ward, Martinez, etc) didn't get what they were promised. That's more recent than all the Jaden Rashada stuff.

Cantwell is going to destroy the Miami shot put record. I don't know if he could do that at Nebraska.

His recruitment isn't over. Miami has a shady recent history with NIL and has a tendency to be a rollercoaster with on-field performance. He doesn't strike me as a guy who wants to get involved with the circus, but only time will tell. I suspect Mizzou is still in the mix if they can get things aligned and show some success this year. Wish it was us, but it is what it is.
With his physical skills I wouldn't put it out of reach either way. Even with Carl putting that number at a world class level. Realistically this kid is looking at national championships and possible Olympic bids if he chooses to focus on it at all.

Dude is a freak. Will throw at a meet in June and hopefully break the hs record. If not this was his last track meet.
