Good for Mbow. Definitely seems like it’s Maybe Maro and for sure VandeMark (?) if we can nab him.

Yup, props to Mbow and I wish him well at ASU.  Even though they're completely different years I felt like getting Ezra Miller allowed NU to be a little more selective at OL which in turn may have been the reason NU cooled on him a bit.

we are not taking him

Word is we had to s#!t one spot from OL to DB after the two departures so he didn't have a spot anymore.  Plus getting a transfer I'm sure didn't help his chances.

First question is, why did they drop him.

Second question is, do we have room to bring him in?

Not sure on the first.  Would be interesting to know.

I don't think we're in the market any more.  After getting a couple transfers I think we decided we're good where we're at.

Answer to first Question: Covid and the "free year" of eligibility this year. I think we are going to see a lot of this because there is a numbers crunch and uncertainty with how this free year will effect numbers down the road. I'm not sure if all recruits will state they have been "dropped" (due to ego) but I anticipate we will see decommits due to the numbers crunch after being informed their spot is no longer committable.

Answer to Second Question: No. Like Mav stated, I think we are good were we at at - especially considering how many o-linemen we have as true fresh and redshirt fresh and will have the same number issue as others.
