OT Martez Ivey [Florida - Signed LOI]

Unless Ivey and Darlington are best buds on the team then I doubt it will play too big of a role, which is a possibility. You have to love the fact though that his coach loves us and it is almost a guarantee that we will be getting a visit. If we have a great season on the field like I am expecting and get him here to see everything we have to offer up close and personal then I think we have a real solid shot with Ivey. Maybe Florida can choke big time and help us along.

 
Guy on 247 that lives in Florida and is connected to boosters says no way in hell, and I trust his word, so it ain't gonna happen. Door is wide open for talent to that school now thou, so we will be able to take advantage of it in the future.

 
Kid has offers from Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia, Florida

When it's all said and done the list will be small of the schools that dont offer this guy

Normally, I would be drinking the Kool-aid hoping the coaches can give the hard sell and we catch a break. Really though, he sounds like such a Florida, I don't see anything pulling him away.

Nope they are Single Wing team now- probably ran for 10 TDs, if youve watched them play, really base their offense around him quite a bit

Even more so now that Zack is out

Apopka scored 80 and 41 points in their last 2 games- killing it with the ground game

My guess is Ivey is having a whopper of a year

 
Apopka won 52-35 over one of the top teams and previously undefeated teams in the largest class in Florida

Up until yesterday they were averaging 53 ppg

I spoke to a HS coach down there last night and he said the Apopka O-line is better than anything he's seen in 40 years of coaching- also an 8A coach

He said the running backs have been hurt and he's just shoveling a whole bunch of different guys in and out- it hasnt mattered who was in

The Ivey kid he said is cant miss

Where are those guys earlier that were telling me he was a bum after watching Apopka play Bern?

Not sure if they had bad eyesight, dont know the game or maybe insane?

Right here. And no, I didn't say he was a bum. I just said an OG isn't the sole reason a team scored 10 TD's.
