Did you read what I wrote? Did you see the other schools that have offered him? It's not like we're up against Rutgers here, oh wait....

But seriously, I consider Nebraska to be a big time name, our HC got canned, very VERY publicly, yet this kid didn't even know it. Do you really think he is considering us?

The last time we won a conference championship this kid had to be like 2 years old.

 
So that means no one watches espn? Reads the paper? Twitter? No one has heard of Nebraska because we haven't won a big one in a while? Ok then. It was easily the biggest HC fire for multiple reasons this past season.

 
Reasons why I think BP was biggest firing(media wise, since that's the point of this)

1. An audio tape leaked with him calling the AD a cu*t and a pu**y. (Didn't happen at Michigan or Florida)

2. He won 9 games every single season. (Didn't happen at Mich or Fla)

End of story.

I don't really get the reason for this post. MattyIce makes very good points. No getting fired was national news. His leaked audio of his players meeting was national news. Hiring Riley was national news. If this guy had any interest in Nebraska he would have known at least one of these 3 events occurred.
