Guys, beginning tomorrow and continuing until Friday, I'll be in Dallas for a business trip, and won't be able to get on-line. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

I'm not sure what gods I pissed off to have to go to Dallas in late July during one of the worst heat waves in decades...

Oh, and try and keep ETR in line. Thanks!

Sure sure, I'm in Denver on a business trip right now and I have been able to keep up my Huskerboard duties?? What gives??

have a safe trip. and dont listen to slacker - all he's been doing is hanging out in the sauna at Big Kahunas fitness and dining at Casa Bonitasss. :blink:

Casa Bonitasss tonight!!! Asked my boss if she would talk me there!! But really, has been a fairly nice trip this time. I'm actually finding stuff to do other then set in the hotel room.

And what of it, yes I have been using the aquatic facilities of the hotel, got an issue with that bud??

Okay, my boss wouldn't take me there, instead I went to a place called Tokyo Joes. <- Named after me... I really only wanted my picture taken in Black Barts Cave.

So AR what do you do after work when you're out of town on business? Here's a pic of what I did today after work, Denver's boaring...

 
Now do we *really* want to know what AR does after work when he's on "business trips"?? b careful what you ask for, Tok Joe - Frank knows how to use a digital camera too...

Well, I'm back - had to stay longer than expected.

What do I do "after hours"? Well, on this trip - nothing. There were no "after hours". I was in conferences all day, and after the offical conferences ended, I had to meet with various individuals. By the time all of that was over, I only had enough time to get back to my room, shower, and hit the bed.

Wednesday - 108 degrees. Thursday - 106 degrees. Today - 103 degrees. I HATE having to live in the south, and I hate having to work there as well. I hate the heat. HATE IT!!!!

Ah, well, at least this should be the last time until the next disaster strikes. The entire "event" was a meeting with various federal officials about emergency preparedness and disaster planning. Folks, I can assure you right now - there has been no progress since Katrina...

 
Tragically,

I believe you. I truly hate being cynical when it comes to the Feds and crisis management. The main premise of throw more money at a problem isn't working and hasn't been working for decades now.

Glad you had a safe trip.
