Its natural for you to think, Man, why arent we throwing the ball? or, Man, I wish I could get a ball right now,  Westerkamp said Wednesday. But you kind of have to be mature about it and understand that, hey, this is whats working right now. We got to work on it. It was good to get the run game going.

The pass game is going to explode next week. I fully anticipate our run heavy opener and likely follow up against WYO being a bit of a Trojan Horse. Against the Ducks we are going to unleash Hell through the air starting around the end of the 1st quarter.

Hard to game plan for the opponent when the opponent gives you no current game film to watch.

 
20-25 passes per game is a good number for Tommy. We don't have the offensive line and defense yet to only throw 10 times/game.

Armstrong threw 41 times in the opener last year, and averaged 33.5 passes per game last season. I see an improvement here by Danny.
